These are kind of my hobbyhorse, I just can’t get enough of them…! I can not explain exactly what the fascination exactly, and whether it is tactically smart, I have thought about it even less. I find them great, I like to paint them, I must have them! And preferably a lot of them…
The other day I had the almost obscene idea that you could actually take 60 (sixty!) phantom droids as troop selection in squads of ten with phantom seers, purely from a rules point of view. Wow! So I got hooked, and now I’m on my way. Five have been ready for a while, five more are just getting their bases designed and still need to be painted, eight are, yes that’s right, under the bed, and 15 are on their way to me. Yay! That’s over 30 already! So three full squads…
So, and Phantom Lords, yeah, I got a couple of those too…. I don’t know how that happened. Honestly! I think there are seven.
Three are already painted, and Arisa is under construction, and I definitely want to rebuild another one, I already know how. Hmm, and according to apocalypse rules, I can then use them along with the phantom droid swarms. Or I talk my teammate into it, if I take ten of them, and a phantom seer to go with them, then I can count them as a troop selection? Maybe he’ll take it from me…. Wuahaha!

Diese hier sind irgendwie mein Steckenpferd, davon kann ich einfach nicht genug haben…! Ich kann gar nicht so genau erklären, was die Faszination genau ausmacht, und ob es taktisch schlau ist, darüber habe ich mir erst recht keine Gedanken gemacht. Ich finde sie toll, ich male sie gerne an, ich muß sie haben! Und am besten viele davon…
Letztens kam mir die fast schon öbszöne Idee, daß man ja in Zehnertrupps mit Phantomseher tatsächlich 60 (sechzig!) Phantomdroiden als Truppenauswahl nehmen könnte, rein regeltechnisch. Wow! Also hat es mich gepackt, und nun bin ich auf dem Weg dahin. Fünf sind schon länger fertig, fünf weitere bekommen gerade noch ihre Bases gestaltet und müssen noch lackiert werden, acht liegen, ja genau, unterm Bett, und 15 sind auf dem Weg zu mir. Juchhee! Das sind schon über 30! Also drei volle Trupps…
So, und Phantomlords, ja, da hab ich auch ein paar… Ich weiß gar nicht, wie das kam. Ehrlich! Ich glaube, es sind sieben.
Drei sind schon bemalt, und Arisa ist im Bau, und einen weiteren will ich definitiv umbauen, ich weiß auch schon wie. Hmm, und nach Apokalypseregeln kann ich sie dann zusammen mit den Phantomdroidenscharen einsetzen. Oder ich rede meinem Mitspieler ein, wenn ich zehn davon mitnehme, und einen Phantomseher dazu, dann kann ich sie als Truppenauswahl zählen? Vielleicht nimmt er es mir ja ab… Wuahahaha!
